Diabetes Voice special issue on education

The latest special issue of Diabetes Voice, the magazine of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), is dedicated to diabetes education. A number authors in this issue warn that as the number of people with diabetes around the world continues to rise, so will the need for high standards of self-management. This can only be achieved by high quality therapeutic education delivered by skilled educators. Improving access to diabetes education is central to IDF's programme of action to reduce and eventually reverse the global diabetes epidemic.
